"My nephew is a picky eater so he doesn't like seafood and this one time I made sea food for him he was very appreciative and he enjoyed the meal so whenever he visits me he asks for the dish and funny part when we eat out he'll always say nobody cooks prawns and mussels the way that I do."
Ingredients
10 – 12 Queen prawns
12 – 16 Mussels
1 Cup of Fresh Cream
1/2 Lemon
1 Tsp Fish Spice
1/2 Tsp Paprika
40g of Butter
1/2 Cup of Cheese
Black Pepper (to taste)
Aromat (to taste)
1 Tsp Garlic and Herbs Spice
Crushed Garlic (to taste)
2 Sprigs of Parsley
Method
Creamy Prawns
Sear: Rinse prawns. Melt butter in a pan and fry prawns for 10 minutes, turning halfway.
Season: Toss in paprika, Aromat, black pepper, lemon & herb, and fish spice while frying.
Simmer: Add squeezed garlic and pour in cream. Let it simmer for 5 minutes.
Finish: Top with a squeeze of fresh lemon juice and fresh parsley.
Creamy Mussels
Boil: Rinse mussels, boil for 10 minutes, then remove from the pot and set aside.
Sauce: In the pot, melt butter and mix with cream, cheese, Aromat, and lemon & herb spice to create a smooth sauce.
Combine: Toss the mussels back into the sauce to coat
Finish: Top with a sprinkle of fresh parsley.
